Food hopping 2

2nd food exploration date with these 2 turned out to be another 5 part hop! Our impromptu ideas brought us from okb>Wheeler's Yard>Hatter's>Lola's>We are The Furballs. 

Pretty satisfied that 4 out of 5 are new hunts and they weren't too disappointing! Rach just had to make a stop at Lola's for their wings. Oh, will definitely be back at Okb for the food & Wheeler's Yard on a weekday to chill.

Psst, satisfied with my new Denim-knit jacket!

Realized i always or else only do these little shoots on Mondays. I suppose its when i'm happiest, the beginning of a new week, its when i look forward to my dates/plans for the week and it also signifies that the long teaching weekend is overrrrr. Don't get me wrong, i enjoy teaching, look forward to seeing the kiddos and its ever rewarding, but just like working mon-fri, fri-sun is when i work- the most.

 I've long gotten past Monday Blues, TGIFs etc because i haven had them in the last 2-3 years when i began to teach more. I used to be really envious seeing people head out to have fun on weekends when i'm heading out to teach but i've since taught myself to embrace what i have and saw past that. Others have tgifs and weekends, i have Mon-fri! Beat that! So everyday is basically the same for me since i work a little bit here and there each day. And with embracing, i've come to love everyday just the same by making the best out of them. I can't be more thankful for being able to do what i enjoy most and what more, at my own pace.

 Oh yes, the postman dropped this off this morning right before i left for work! All these years i'm always dissing the dainty watches and going for men's watch even, but the collection over at NakedGlory got me thinking otherwise. Been considering picking up one for myself for the last 6 months and i'm so glad i finally did! As much as i love my chunky watches, they can't go with everything. I still love you chunky watches, i'm just making room for these dainty pieces!

 Today started off excellent because it was a good hair day, i was loving my new watch and jacket until somebody wanted to walk in the rain that became an extremely heavy downpour that left us totally drenched. Butttttttttttttt, thank you for coming by between classes to surprise me despite that and despite the fact that it failed HAHA. :)

F I N A L L Y!!!!!!

Couldn't be happier when he said 'let's go Creamier' ! I think if there were such thing like sparkly eyes as seen in cartoons/anime, my eyes would sparkle at the mention of ice cream. I am such a terrible ice cream junkie. Such a tiny place overflowing with people but i suppose it creates the illusion of a crowd & a continuous flow of patrons in some sense. But i'll be back of course!

HAHA YES, we went for desserts first! Been craving for my kimchi pancake & spicy tofu seafood soup the last couple days!! But my ice cream is priority! Had to replace those with seafood spring onion pancake & clear beef rib soup respectively cause I suppose I was still pretty unwell..... Kimchi pancake & spicy tofu seafood soup i'll be back!

Thank you for bringing me to satisfy my list of cafes, other cravings & without complaining???! Haha maybe its just not yet! 

Its not only me who has been frequenting cafes....Dad has been bringing the family to try various places too! He was the one to recommend us Jacob's Cafe, Chock Full of Beans, To-gather Cafe, Bark's Cafe, the list goes on & last night it was One Bistro. Pardon the bad photo, it was rather dimly lit in the bistro.

Oh yes,

WE FINALLY GOT OUR HANDS ON A SLOW JUICER! 

Cause mum kept complaining that my juice packs are too costly so I told her she should buy soon then. She really went on the hunt yesterday. So cute of her to wa me this pic and still call me to tell me about our options, the free throw ins etc hahaha. She probably wouldn't have done that if we weren't sharing the cost!!! But can't really get over the fact that this cost 789$?!! Haha. Been repeating to myself that this is a good investment.
